Advice:
"Everything in moderation. I drink lots of Evian and sleep a lot, at least 10 hours a night. And I put olive oil on myself every so often." She also says it's important to hold yourself properly. "Good posture makes clothes look better."
On plastic surgery:
"When I'm talking to women who have had facelifts, I can't concentrate because I'm so busy looking at their foreheads, how their eyebrows are sticking up and how their eyes do weird things when they bend down. Who wants a face like Frankenstein? To get worried about that plastic surgery stuff is an illness." She says she's not scared of a few lines. "I've spent 25 years looking young and wonderful, it's only natural that now I'm getting wrinkles."
On ageing:
"I hate it when women are obsessive about their age because it only makes them unhappy. I'm very happy about my age. I don't fear the ageing process. I've been lucky and I seem to be ageing pretty good. I have lines on my forehead, but they're great because they're expression lines. Anyway, now I have to wear glasses for reading, I can't even see them." As for changing her clothes in line with her age, she says: "I've still got fabulous legs and wear miniskirts. I'll keep wearing bikinis till I'm 80."
How I keep fit:
"My trainer comes over twice a week and I do a lot of leg work. I swim every day, ride three times a week and do yoga and Pilates. I love Pilates and I've been doing yoga since I was 18, so I started long before Madonna. Exercise releases endorphins, which give you that inner glow."
Bits I don't like:
"I wish I had a bigger bosom, smaller feet, a firmer bottom... I could go on." Something she's not worried about is cellulite - because she claims she doesn't have any. "After my fourth baby was born, a photographer took a picture of me on the beach with horrible cellulite. I'm sure they retouched it. I've never had cellulite. But if it cheered people up at the breakfast table, that's fine by me."
Food:
"I eat three well-balanced meals a day. Skipping meals just means the body saves up fat. I don't snack in between meals and avoid alcohol. Alcohol ruins a woman's appearance." She doesn't eat sweets, apart from Green & Black's chocolate. "It's good for you because it contains lots of vitamins and antioxidants. I eat a couple of pieces of organic dark chocolate every day."
