EHNAC Seeks Public Review and Comments for V.9.4 of Their Healthcare Network Accreditation Program (HNAP)

EHNAC announced today it has posted version 9.4 of its Healthcare Network Accreditation Program (HNAP) criteria for general public review and comment. The comment period will last 60 days from October 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007. Changes in V.9.4 include adding HIPAA rule # references to criteria, adding additional hyperlinks, and revising site reviewer scoring. Under the new scoring schema, site reviewers have 3 choices: Pass (1), Partial with Recommendation (0.5) and Fail (0). This new V.9.4 also added required Instructional Guidance (IG) information to specifically indicate requirements to the 10 mandatory criteria.
