Heart Failure Patient Recovers After Cellmedicine Adult Stem Cell Therapy

Posted on: Friday, 5 October 2007, 00:00 CDT

In December 2006, The Institute of Cellular Medicine (www.cellmedicine.com) treated a no-option cardiac patient with adult stem cells. Since being treated, the patient has undergone profound recovery, improving his ejection fraction rate from approximately 30% (clinical heart failure) to over 50% which is well within the boundaries of a normal, healthy adult. The Institute of Cellular Medicine recently interviewed the patient to get his perspective on the treatment, his recovery, and outlook on the future.

"My options were A) Wait and see what happens with time B) Wait till I needed a heart transplant or C) Wait till I die, so I started looking around and I found out about ICM on the Internet." On his recovery, "After the fourth treatment I felt my whole body had changed. I no longer felt fatigued, the shortness of breath had gone away and my energy levels went through the roof." As for the future, the patient concluded, "ICM gave me the opportunity to get my life back."
