"Eclipsys is very excited that such a large and prestigious healthcare organization as SingHealth is the first Sunrise Clinical Manager client outside of North America," said R. Andrew Eckert, Eclipsys president and chief executive officer. "We look forward to working with SingHealth and utilizing the Eclipsys Outcomes Methodology to drive high-levels of clinician adoption and improved clinical outcomes."

At each stage of the care process, each clinical team member at SingHealth will have access to the up-to-date Sunrise Clinical Manager electronic medical record, so patients don't have to repeat the same information at every encounter. Physicians can make informed, timely decisions and SingHealth's clinical teams can deliver integrated care throughout the course of the patient's care.

"After evaluating the capabilities of the next version of Sunrise Clinical Manager, it became clear the solution provides the high-performing, responsive and secure clinical platform required to help us better coordinate care delivery across all of our institutions," said Mrs. Karen Koh, SingHealth deputy chief executive officer. "By improving collaboration and having a system that enables us to continuously improve our care delivery processes, we can achieve our goal of providing a world-class standard of healthcare for all Singaporeans."

Continued Eckert, "as we look to aggressively expand our sales efforts beyond North America, having SingHealth as a client is an important first step toward increasing Eclipsys' global presence."
