Rahn, MD, president of the Medical College of Georgia, a nationally recognized researcher and clinician, and a member of the Association of Academic Health Centers, will address the National Conference of State Legislatures at its Fall Forum on the crises brewing for the nation's health care workforce. Dr. Rahn will address the health workforce as an economic issue for the nation, highlighting the supply and demand for health professionals, health professions faculty shortages, the roles of academic health centers, and the outlook for the future. Dr. Rahn will suggest ways for state policymakers to help resolve this critical national issue.
