Regent, a provider of financial aid management software solutions for higher education institutions, has announced that the University of Texas Medical Branch has selected Regent Enterprise as its financial aid software solutions provider. The software will be live by the close of 2007.
Vicki Brewer, director of enrollment services and university registrar, said: "Regent was selected because it offered a flexible product capable of meeting immediate and future needs at a reasonable price.
"As a major academic health center, University of Texas educates tomorrow's physicians, nurses, allied health scientists and biomedical scientists at the professional, graduate and undergraduate levels. It was important that the financial aid system selected be able to process our unique professional programs, provide web-based self-service to our students and meet our needs for additional functionality in Enrollment Services."
