Brentwood Mayor Joe Reagan and Ed Kenny, president and CEO of Life Care Services LLC, the nation's leading developer and manager of senior living communities, today helped kick off the grand opening of The Heritage at Brentwood (www.TheHeritageLCS.com) and joined in the groundbreaking for phase II.
As former members of the Boots Randolph Band performed with the Steve Bishop Band, the outdoor celebration highlighted the completion of 152 apartment-style residences, 12 villas and 16 garden villas. Phase II will add an additional 21 villas, 16 garden villas and 121 new apartment homes.
"We thank everyone involved with The Heritage at Brentwood for their ongoing commitment and belief in our concept of a master planned community for seniors built on choice, control and flexibility. Residents directly participate in how and when their services are structured and delivered as they lead a luxurious, invigorating lifestyle, and we're very proud of that," Kenny said. "LCS has invested six years of our time and energy into The Heritage and will have invested more than 10 before the community is fully occupied at the end of the second phase we're beginning today."
Each new resident has full access to The Heritage's Select Services(TM), a trio of programs that includes HealthyLife(TM) Services, a LifeSTYLE Promise(TM) and a LifeCare(TM) provision which focus on fitness, nutrition and activities that promote overall wellbeing.
In addition to Kenny and the mayor, Arlene Cooke, Williamson County commissioner for the Sixth District; Teresa Miller, president of the Brentwood/Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce; Paula Cirulli, vice chairman of that chamber; Ron Shuff, chairman of the Williamson County/Franklin Chamber of Commerce; and Nancy Conway, president of that chamber, all shared with attendees their enthusiasm for what The Heritage brings to Brentwood and their expectations as the project moves forward.
Phase II will include an auditorium, HealthyLife(TM) Center with indoor pool, whirlpool, exercise terrace, strength training room, aerobics room, day spa with massage room and classroom, ice cream parlor, expanded convenience store and a new casual dining area. Also included will be the Somerfield Heath Center with private suites for assisted living, memory and skilled nursing care.
