Aultman Hospital to Offer Video Interpretation Services

Language Access Network, a provider of video interpretation services, has announced that Ohio-based Aultman Hospital has signed a three year service agreement for MARTTI, a live video interpretation service.
Language Access Network (LAN) will now provide Aultman with live video/audio interpretation services in American Sign Language for the deaf and hard of hearing, Spanish, Mandarin, Greek, and 150 other languages, to its patient contacts.
The service will be offered for free by Aultman to its patients and visitors. LAN estimates that each patient encounter in a hospital environment, ER, labor and delivery, clinic, lasts between 7-12 minutes of time on the my accessible real time trusted interpreter (MARTTI) unit.
