October 13, 2011

Author De Anna Komppa tells of daughterâs fight against rare disease, giving hope to readers

Racine, Wis (PRWEB) October 13, 2011

A motherâs love for her child is one of the strongest bonds in existence. In Better, Not Bitter: The Tiffany Miller Story (published by AuthorHouse), author and mother De Anna Komppa and her love for her daughter are put to the test.

âœThis is the true story about my daughterâs life,â explains Komppa. âœMy experience with my daughterâs illness, life, and death inspired me to write this story.â

Komppa shares her daughterâs story, writing of a little girl named Tiffany and an angel sent from Heaven. Better, Not Bitter is an enthralling, heartbreaking story about the love between a mother and child and a fight for life.

Tiffanyâs disease progressed and she required a liver/bowel transplant, which was rare at the time. Komppa writes about a medical system that failed to help, and how this little girl became a pioneer. Komppaâs community raised over $700,000 in just a few months as Tiffanyâs story played out in front of the media.

Better, Not Bitter is a story that reaches beyond life. Even in the unfortunate and untimely death of Tiffany, her mission continues through a mother whose life and heart was forever changed.

âœIt is not what happens to you but how you deal with it,â says Komppa. âœTaking the good from the bad and making your life, better not bitter.â
