Snoring Isn’t Sexy Launches Mobile Web Site

December 15, 2011

More and more people are searching for information on smart phones. In response to this trend, Snoring Isn’t Sexy has launched a mobile web site that automatically redirects when its usual web site address of snoringisntsexy.com is accessed by a smart phone.

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2011

According to Pew Research Center’s Internet and American Life Project, 25% of smartphone owners say that their phone is where they do most of their online browsing. In response to this trend, Snoring Isn’t Sexy has added a mobile companion site to its usual web site address of snoringisntsexy.com.

When snoringisntsexy.com is accessed by a smart phone, site visitors are automatically redirected to the site specially designed for the mobile browser. The site contains information on snoring and sleep apnea, descriptions of oral appliances used to control sleep breathing problems and a directory of participating dentists.

“We decided to develop a mobile site rather than an App because of ease of access,” said Dr. Laurence Barsh, President and Founder of Snoring Isn’t Sexy, LLC. “Apps require that one visit the ‘store’, sign in and download the App. We wanted to have as seamless an interaction as possible – the same URL for both web and smart phone visitors filled the bill.”

With the addition of a mobile site, Snoring Isn’t Sexy provides easy access to dentists who provide an alternative, medically accepted treatment for those with mild or moderate sleep apnea and those who cannot tolerate their prescribed CPAP device on both the conventional web and on smart phones.
