Atlanta, Georgia (Sandy Springs) (PRWEB) January 08, 2012

The Arches Transitional Recovery Program has served the Atlanta area over the past two years with services and facilities focused on the male population in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The success of the men´s program has been outstanding and the addition of services and transitional living facilities for women is a natural and much demanded expansion of the program. Now, in addition to offering outstanding services and a successful recovery program for men, The Arches women´s recovery program will provide women sober living in Atlanta with the same care and transitional living program structure. The women´s recovery program will be maintained separate from the men´s recovery program to ensure safety and focus on the process of transitioning to clean and sober living.

With the demand for quality transitional recovery residences rising, The Arches developed its services and recovery program to fulfill this growing and desperate market. All concerned parties involved in the addict´s life understand the importance and necessity for a safe and structured environment. This will provide the recovery based foundation and care needed to help the recovering addict in their transition back into a balanced, clean and sober life. “There are a plethora of recovery residence programs to choose from in Atlanta and around the country. The problem is finding one that offers and follows through with the kind of “hands on” care and recovery structure we provide at The Arches. Our Atlanta halfway house residences are clean, safe and the program is affordable,” says Todd Wilson, Executive Director of The Arches Transitional Recovery Program.

The men´s program has been built upon that very structure and “hands on” approach to the services offered by The Arches staff. The successful graduates of the program are given the opportunity to be involved in an aftercare program and continue to be involved within the community. “We spend a lot of time with our clients and implement a level of accountability needed to maintain sobriety and transition back into productive lives. There is a bond formed during their tenor at the Arches and many want to continue to be involved when they graduate from the program. We are passionate about sobriety and helping our clients get sober and lead productive lives.” says Debbie Cohen, Managing Director of The Arches.

The move to offer services and structure to women in recovery is one The Arches has been looking forward to for some time. Over the past year there have been many inquiries to The Arches from women and their families looking for a safe and structured program in this area of Atlanta. The Arches Recovery Residences are located in the North Atlanta area (Sandy Springs) off of Georgia 400 and Northridge Road. Todd Wilson adds, “There have been a couple of halfway houses close in this area over the last year, which has increased the demand for good quality programs, especially for women. We are very excited about offering our services to both men and women and feel it will help us continue to grow and mature as a recovery residence leader in Atlanta.”
