Rehabmart.com, an online e-commerce company that sells rehabilitation and medical supplies, is proud to offer the P44, a Portable Chair-Mounted Stepper manufactured by the Better Motion Group, a Canadian product design and manufacturing company based in Aurora, Ontario since 2007. Founder and current President, Steven J. Coates, has made the purpose of his company to be to transform knowledge into better products and services and this has come to fruition with the P44 Portable Chair-Mounted Stepper.

Steven J. Coates, a mechanical engineer, together with his son, Andrew Coates, Manager of Marketing and Sales, first offered the Hiker adult tricycle, which was so successful that they began to envision a type of chair-mounted exercise solution, which led to the development and patenting of the P44 Stepper. The stepper´s patented design allows it to be used for both progressive resistance training of the quadriceps and cardiovascular exercise.

“We are proud to offer the P44 Stepper to our customers.” said Hulet Smith, Founder and CEO of Rehabmart. “The design of the P44 is unique and very beneficial to a number of our customers, especially as the population ages and more chair-mounted exercise equipment will be needed.”

The major benefit of the P44 Stepper, beside its portability, is that the legs are independent of one another, allowing for different stroke lengths and rates, and an independent force and leg motion can be set for each individual leg. It also allows for a decreased knee range of motion, compared to the cycle demands of at least 110 degrees to complete a cycle. With the P44, the legs can be worked in an alternating motion, together, or even one at a time.
