March 5, 2012

NEW YORK, March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The 18th Annual National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (ErgoExpo) will be held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, December 4 – 7, 2012. With attendee registrations coming in earlier than the last few years, and an improved economic outlook, a date change became necessary to ensure conference space for anticipated growth.

Exhibitors, including Jon Biggs, Director of Sales & Marketing for Kinesis Corporation, are eagerly anticipating this year’s show, noting, “ErgoExpo is very important for us. This annual event is the most cost effective way for me to visit with my existing clients and meet hundreds of new potential buyers from an impressive group of organizations.” ErgoExpo is the largest ergonomics conference and trade show in the nation, with other industry leaders including AliMed, Darcor Casters and Wheels, GelPro Matting, Herman Miller, Microsoft, Power Pusher by NuStar, Steelcase, and many others planning to exhibit. As of today, with ten months to go, a remarkable 96% of last year’s exhibitors have already renewed, and nearly 90% of available exhibit space has already been sold.

Last year’s attendees represented nearly all of the 50 states and 13 foreign countries, and organizations as diverse as Boeing, ConAgra, eBay, ExxonMobil, Ford, GE, HP, Mayo Clinic, NASA, Sysco, Target, US Air Force, Wells Fargo and numerous government agencies and healthcare facilities. The big news coming out of last year’s show: 94% of attendees reported that their company will be spending the same or more on ergonomics and safety products in 2012, 30% indicated they will increase ergonomics spending. Event loyalty has remained steady, with 71% of attendees only visiting one trade show last year, ErgoExpo.

Continental Exhibitions, Inc., the owners/producers of ErgoExpo have also expanded the successful Webinar Wednesday program. Already this year, presenters from HP and Tulane University have covered topics including computer user research (Sponsored by Herman Miller) and the aging workforce (Sponsored by AliMed). On March 14, Dr. Jeffrey Anshel will discuss vision in the workplace. In the coming months, material handling, ergonomics in healthcare, ergonomics program ROI and much more will be addressed during Webinar Wednesday presentations. Mark your calendars for these free webinar presentations which take place on the second Wednesday of the month, free registration is available via www.ErgoExpo.com.
