San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) May 01, 2012

The Concordia University Wisconsin softball team heads into the Northern Athletic Conference Tournament on May 3rd, as the number three seed. The CUW Falcons go into the tournament with two weekend wins giving them a 19-5 NAC conference mark.

Leading this program to its successful year is Nike Softball Camp director, Steve Crook. Crook is responsible for the Nike Softball Camp at Concordia University Wisconsin this summer and plans to conduct his camp in a similar structure to his collegiate practices.

NIKE Softball Camps is pleased to have Steve Crook as a new director for 2012” Mike de Surville Vice President of US Sports Camps stated. “Along with his proven track record this season and success in past years at CUW, Coach Crook has a coaching style that encompasses both the mental and physical aspects of the game.”

The 2012 season marks Coach Crook’s 13th year as Head Coach for the Falcon Softball Program and in the 2011 season CUW advanced to the NCAA Tournament and won their first-ever contest at that prestigious level.

The team is on track to have another strong finish in the NAC before Crook shifts his gears to directing NIKE Softball Camp this summer.
