“The Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing (PUSH Tool) was developed by the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) in 1997. “The PUSH Tool is clinically validated for monitoring wound healing, tracking wound assessments, and helping healthcare providers focus on appropriate interventions,” according to co-presenter Anne Scheurich, BS, RN, CWOCN, who is Vice President of Clinical Operations for WoundRounds. The webinar will address topics including the benefits and best practices of the PUSH tool, wound assessment elements in the tool, and case studies illustrating best use of the tool.

“Improving wound care is the core mission of WoundRounds, so we offer this valuable education free to participants. WoundRounds is pleased to help advance wound care education for healthcare providers,” says Scheurich. Besides presenting the PUSH tool, the webinar will end with a demonstration of PUSH Tool automation, a feature of the WoundRounds system that makes it easier to focus on wound healing and the effectiveness of wound care plans.
