These self defense classes are aimed at individuals or groups who are looking to equip themselves with the necessary skills in self preservation and preparedness.

This series of Kerrville karate and self defense classes are offered to individuals of all ages, from three and a half years old onwards, who are looking for a fun class that will develop their self confidence, improve focus, energy, and control, and increase awareness and ability to protect one´s self. For those looking for exercise and weight loss programs, the training provided by Impact Martial Arts is a good alternative to treadmills, gyms, and weights while still increasing coordination, strength, flexibility, and stamina while learning the art of self defense.

For people who are working or have other responsibilities to fulfill but are very much interested in learning the art of self defense and attend the classes of Impact Martial Arts, flexible workout and training schedules are available to take care of the limitations and restrictions that might be present. This flexible schedule makes it possible for the most number of individuals to take part in the self defense class as the skills it provides are truly needed today.

Impact Martial Arts is headed by Lance Leach also spearheads professional instruction in the self defense classes. The organization has been around for two years, founded on September 1, 2010. But apart from helping people improve their guard and aid them with the necessary protective skills against possible attacks and threats to self, Impact Martial Arts is also focused on giving back to the community and contributing to its general welfare.

Recently, Impact Martial Arts have conducted a demonstration for the Kerrville Boy Scouts this month for all troops and they have also participated in the Bark for Life the same time. Last March, they have also raised $2500 for the Big Brother and Big Sisters through the KICK-A-THON they organized in the first ever title sponsor in Kerrville, increasing the amount of money they previously raised in last year´s same event by $1500.

Similarly, the group is all set to hold another demonstration at the Heritage Place Assisted Living in Fredericksburg on July 12, 2012. It has also been in active support of the Chamber of Commerce for the past three years, as well as being a proud sponsor for the Tyler Behren 5K since 2011. People, families, and individuals who take part in the Kerrville karate and self defense classes of Impact Martial Arts truly do more than equip themselves with killer chops but also lend a hand in the many community projects of the group that has been consistent since its birth.

Among the many outreach programs conducted by Impact Martial Arts through the years include the December 2011 Food Drive where they raised 50 lbs of food and the Women self defense class and Stranger Danger kids class they organized in October and February of last year.
