Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) July 11, 2012

As the only private drug and alcohol treatment center in Scottsdale, Arizona, Journey Healing Centers (http://journeycenters.com) announces the company has expanded to a new headquarters and IOP Center. To welcome the community, this addiction rehabilitation center will host an Open House on Thurs, July 19, 2012, 3-7pm at their new location (11624 Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259.) Drug abuse worldwide kills about 200,000 people a year, according to the U.N.’s drug-fighting agency (June 2012,) and fewer than 1 in 5 people needing help actually get it. Education, family and community support are the best ways to address addiction.

Along with providing holistic healing programs for the past eleven years, Journey Healing Centers is focused on helping families get loved ones back. Journey Healing Centers CEO Josh Lannon shared, “It´s an honor to continue providing healing services to our community. Addiction is destroying so many families and we have taken a committed stand that you can “get the person you love…back.”

Anyone dealing with an addiction, families who want to help loved ones with addictions, counselors, and/or anyone with addiction questions are welcome to attend. To help people stop drug and alcohol addictions, Journey Healing Centers offers a unique holistic healing approach for the mind, body and soul. These world-class centers offer customized recovery plans, professional solutions, family therapy and a free 24-hour addiction hotline. The family therapy is high touch, and can include several touch points a week. The average engagement of the staff with loved ones is 5 hr per week, including family programming, therapy sessions and phone calls.

Reflecting on the latest trends, CEO Josh Lannon, added, “Alcohol abuse is our #1 admission into the programs at Journey Healing Centers and prescription drug abuse is #2. Then, all the illegal drugs…addiction is not what most people think it is.” There has also been an increase in the number of admissions for Bath Salts and Spice in Scottsdale.

To answer questions, the licensed team of doctors and therapists will provide 15-minute presentations with ample time for Questions and Answers afterwards. Each clinician will be in the room at least 20 minutes prior and after these presentations for one-on-one questions too.

During this Grand Opening, tours will be provided of the facilities, which include Journey Healing Centers residential programs, The Sundance Center and The Retreat, where delicious desserts will be provided by their private chefs. Guests will be able to see art and equine therapy exhibits, along participating in drawings for give-aways, and have an opportunity to meet the team. Shuttle transportation will be provided for transportation convenience between the IOP facility and residential facilities.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Day Treatment will also be relocated to this new location. The IOP will continue to offer flexible day and evening scheduling options for those who can’t commit full-time to one of the Residential Programs. This center provides 4 and 8-week IOP programs so there are many treatment options.
