Reading, PA (PRWEB) July 14, 2012

Lifeline of Berks County, a non-profit crisis pregnancy center near Reading, PA serving women in need, is seeking online donations via their new website.

Reading, PA, located in Berks County, has the nation´s largest share of residents living in poverty for cities with populations of 65,000 or more, according to census data. Many of Lifeline´s clients are women living in poverty and in desperate need of assistance in dealing with an unplanned pregnancy, according to Lifeline President, Robert Peters.

“We´re having trouble keeping up with the demand,” said Peters. We need funding to provide for increased staff, services, and supplies to help moms and their babies in a time of personal crisis. Our crisis pregnancy center near Reading, PA, provides free ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, baby formula, diapers, counseling, and other services to qualified women, many of them teens. Many have nowhere else to go for support.”

Lifeline is seeking online donations via their website at http://www.lifelineofberks.org. Both one-time and monthly contributions may be made. “It is our hope that online donations will make the difference. Increased donations are a key goal behind our new website,” said Peters. “We´re counting on generous donors, including some outside of Berks County, to lend a compassionate hand.”

Lifeline´s new website was designed and developed by Power Marketing International (PMI), a Berks County web design and Internet marketing firm offering discounts for non-profit organizations. “Lifeline is a great cause,” said PMI President Alan Robezzoli. “I can´t think of a more compassionate organization when it comes to helping women in need. We´re proud to be involved.”
