The Feldman Institute Introduces New Treatment Options To Resolve Back Pain

July 25, 2012

BATON ROUGE, La., July 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — One out of ten people suffers from debilitating pain as a result of a spine injury or condition. As a result of recent advances in spine, patients can now be treated with minimally invasive spine surgery techniques or non-operative therapies, yet many patients are unaware of these options. With this in mind, The Feldman Institute of Baton Rouge, LA, a local leader in minimally invasive spine surgery and interventional pain management, is launching The Spine Health Series, a series of free community seminars, with the first one on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, from 6-7 p.m.. The seminars will educate consumers on effective methods to relieve back pain and various treatment options from minimally invasive surgery to holistic medicine.

Dr. Arnold Feldman, a Harvard trained board certified interventional pain management specialist, and the Feldman Institute Spine Health Series will offer seminars this year focusing on back pain, interventional spine modalities for diagnosis and treatment and the use of implantable devices for chronic pain syndromes, spasticity and neurological disorders.

The seminar on Tuesday, July 31(st) includes an overview on the current state of treatment modalities for back pain including Dr. Feldman’s presentation of three case reports to illustrate the various new techniques that are now being used to treat patients. “The Feldman Institute is committed to supporting the advancement of care for patients suffering from back pain,” explains Arnold Feldman, M.D. “We consider community health education events part of our patient and civic responsibility to the citizens of Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.”

The July 31, 2012 free community event is the first in a series of four lectures. Three additional lectures are planned for later this year.

The Seminar on July 31(st), 2012 will be held at The Feldman Institute, 505 East Airport Drive, Baton Rouge. Local Sponsors for the event are Relax The Back Store and Our Daily Bread.
