USANA Health Sciences Joins French Direct Selling Association
SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE: USNA) today announced it has been accepted into the Federation de la Vente Directe (FVD), after soft-launching in France earlier this year. The U.S.-based nutritional company, which celebrates its 20(th) anniversary this year, is projected to earn between $630-$640 million in sales in 2012 and now sells its award-winning products in 18 markets worldwide.
“The French direct-selling association only accepts companies that have fully demonstrated their commitment to ethical business practices,” explained Doug Hekking, USANA’s chief financial officer. “The fact that USANA has a great reputation and a compensation plan with some of the highest payout in the industry made us a welcome addition to the French economy.”
