Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) August 17, 2012
Empire Medical Training is proud to have completed another highly successful pain management seminar at the world-renowned Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Over the August 3rd through 5th weekend, the Empire Medical Training faculty once again came to the beautiful Albert Einstein campus to do its very popular Pain Management Workshop training program. Empire Medical has been holding pain management training courses at this location for many years, as the cutting edge medical technology and expertise at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine exemplify the kind of commitment to innovation and high-end education that is sought by Empire Medical Training.
The Pain Management training offered by Empire Medical seeks to instruct physicians on a variety of medical procedures aimed at expanding their medical practice and generating new revenue sources. The course covers topics such as how to do joint injections, how to do Botox injections for pain, how to do low back injections, how to do trigger point injections, how to perform prolotherapy, how to do hormone therapy, proper pain diagnosis and many other pain management procedures. Pain management students also learn all about the advanced technologies and medical supplies that they will need and how to code and correctly submit claims to get the appropriate reimbursement for high paying procedures such as image guided surgery.
The training has recently been expanded from a 2-day program to a 3-day Hands-On cadaver training program thanks to the excellent results facilitated by Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the high demand for pain management classes. Lead Pain Management instructor Dr. Ernest Roman once again praised the "great facility and technology [that allows] exceptional on-cadaver training," while Empire Medical Training President Dr. Stephen Cosentino highlighted the "extreme satisfaction doctors and EMT staff always get when attending a pain management seminar at Albert Einstein College."
Doctors who attended the course received credits towards their full Pain Management Certification as well as a Certificate of Achievement for the successful completion and demonstration of various pain injection procedures. Empire Medical has also partnered with the American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM) to offer certification and additional benefits to members. Empire Medical Training has designed this and its other medical training programs to ensure that physicians fully understand and become comfortable with the new procedures they will be offering. Business training is also separately available to help doctors learn about medical marketing and how to optimally monetize their new medical expertise.
