Ansell Limited and Ramsay Health Care Enter Global Multi-Year Purchasing Agreement

MELBOURNE, Australia, September 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ –

Ansell Limited (ASX: ANN), a global leader in medical gloves and healthcare safety
solutions, today announced it has entered into a multi-year purchasing agreement with
Ramsay Health Care (ASX: RHC), one of the largest private hospital groups in Australia and
abroad.

The three (3) year agreement appoints Ansell as the preferred supplier for surgical
gloves and healthcare safety solutions (Ansell Sandel Medical Solutions). Ansell will
supply all hospitals and day surgery facilities Ramsay operates across Australia, and
possibly Ramsay’s facilities in the United Kingdom, France and Indonesia.
