Oklahoma City Makes Spearheads Health Initiatives for Residents
In response to Oklahoma City´s recently launched health initiatives designed to encourage healthier lifestyles in its residents, Massage School San Diego has released a list of the top 10 benefits of exercise, in hopes of promoting physical activity across all U.S. cities.

Officials in Oklahoma City have launched several health initiatives in an effort to encourage local residents to lead healthier, more active lifestyles. According to the New York Times, Oklahoma City officials have helped to spearhead several health initiatives to promote healthy living amongst residents. Most recently, the city launched a heart disease prevention program in its least healthy zip code — 73111. The program offers free medicine and heart checkups for residents who take a health class. Michael Bailey, who works for the city´s health department, even went so far as to go door to door in order to get locals to sign up. The area will also soon be getting a new health complex, walking trails and sports and activity fields, and a physical education coordinator will join the ranks of the local school district.
