This June, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile celebrated a milestone as it served its 10,000(th) patient. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program in Philadelphia was officially launched in 2001 and provided medical screenings to children. After significant research, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile narrowed its focus to pediatric dentistry in response to the growing need for children’s dental care in the city of Philadelphia.
Care includes examinations, cleanings, fluoride and sealant treatments, x-rays and fillings. Care Mobile staff will also provide children with dental hygiene instruction.
