In celebration of this special occasion and as part of their commitment to giving back to the local community, fifty percent of all Swirls and Twirls proceeds on October 20th will be donated to the Levittown PTA Council. These funds will be used to support the PTA in their efforts to bring more educational programs to students in the district, as well as to increase the number of student scholarships they are able to offer each year.
“As a family, we were all crazy about Swirls and Twirls right from the start” says Ed Leone. “From our first visit to the Massapequa shop, we fell in love with the whole Swirls experience, especially their very genuine commitment to giving back to the communities that they serve”. He continued, “And now, as a family opening our own Swirls and Twirls, we are all very excited to be able to bring all that we fell in love with in Massapequa to a whole new community. And what better way to do that then to make our first day all about supporting the local PTA.”
The Levittown location is the fifth Swirls and Twirls to open since the successful launch of this chain began with the opening of the first shop in Massapequa Park in May 2011. Ten more shops are expected to open during the year on Long Island, in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut through the recent availability of Swirls and Twirls franchise opportunities http://www.swirlsandtwirlsusa.com/franchise.
