Springdale West Becomes Symphony of Mesa
MESA, Ariz., Oct. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — On November 1st, Springdale West Nursing Center will be renamed Symphony of Mesa and will have a new graphic look and logo. Concurrent with the renaming, the 204-bed facility will roll out several specialized programs that emphasize the facility’s focus on and expertise in the care of medically complex patients in a skilled nursing setting.
These new offerings include the facility’s Rapid Response Program, designed to prevent 30-Day re-hospitalizations; Heart for Life, the facility’s innovative cardiac management program; Breathe Easy, Live Well, Symphony’s ground-breaking pulmonary rehabilitation program, On-Site Dialysis, and Complex Wound Care.
The facility’s Executive Director, Blake Gillman, explains the primary impetus for the name change. “While we have always had a stellar reputation for providing the highest quality care for high acuity individuals, over the past few years we have seen an increase in the medical complexity of our patients.”
Gillman added, “We are the most medically complex skilled nursing facility in East Mesa and want this community to understand that as specialists in sub-acute care, we work in concert with their physicians and their families to provide the best possible care.”
Because of the facility’s commitment to working in harmony with all stakeholders, the new logo has four interconnecting rings, representing residents, community, family, and staff.
Symphony of Mesa is located at 3130 East Broadway in Mesa and is fully licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services.
