Hospice of the Western Reserve is one of only a handful of hospice organizations statewide to achieve a four-star designation from We Honor Veterans (http://www.wehonorveterans.org), an initiative of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization. The four-star ranking is awarded to hospice organizations nationwide that are deemed to offer the highest level of service to Veterans.

Military service has a profound impact on the end-of-life experience and is highly relevant for caregivers working to provide appropriate, personalized care for veterans during their final months of life. For many Veterans, preparing for death conjures memories of a difficult past. The staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve is trained to meet the unique needs of seriously ill veterans and their families.
