– Simon Coble, General Manager, The Body Shop (UK)
Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall has become one of
Britain’s most treasured and iconic buildings, playing centre stage for many world-leading
artists from around the globe. This electrifying event will host a series of activities by
The Body Shop both backstage and front-of-house to bring to life Beauty With Heart.
Teenage Cancer Trust has announced the stellar line-up for their annual concert series
at the Royal Albert Hall, taking place from 19th to 24th March 2013.

Wednesday 20th An evening of comedy with RUSSELL BRAND and NOEL FIELDING
and very special guests
Thursday 21st PRIMAL SCREAM
Friday 22nd KASABIAN
Saturday 23rd NOEL GALLAGHER including DAMON ALBARN & GRAHAM COXON

Teenage Cancer Trust’s patron and The Who front man, Roger Daltrey CBE, has been the
driving force behind the concerts for over 12 years. For the first time this year, Roger
worked alongside another longstanding supporter of Teenage Cancer Trust, Noel Gallagher,
to handpick the incredible line-up that reads like a who’s who of the rock world.
On asking Noel to curate, Roger Daltrey said: “Who’s a lucky boy then! I AM! As I am
in the middle of a six-month tour of the US with The Who, I was very concerned that I
would not find the time to curate next year’s Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal
Albert Hall. So it’s with great pride and relief that I’m able to thank Noel Gallagher,
who has supported me from day one of these concerts, for standing in for me and arranging
the artists for the shows next March, and he has pulled together a fantastic line-up that
promises to be another great success for the charity.”
12 years of concerts have raised over GBP15million for Teenage Cancer Trust, making a
massive difference to the lives of thousands of young people with cancer across the UK.
All money raised has helped the charity to build more specialist teenage cancer units in
NHS hospitals across the UK, allowing young people to be treated together with others
their own age, in an environment suited to their needs.
Tickets, from GBP25.00 (plus booking fee), will be available from 9.30am on
Friday 7th December 2012 and can be purchased from the following outlets:

About Teenage Cancer Trust
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life
and chances of survival for the six young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with
cancer every day. We build specialist units within NHS hospitals bringing young people
together to be treated by teenage cancer experts in a place designed just for them. We
want every young person with cancer to have access to this specialist support, no matter
where they live.
Traditionally treated alongside children or elderly patients at the end of their
lives, young people can feel extremely isolated during treatment, some never meeting
another young person with cancer. Being treated alongside others their own age can make a
huge difference to their whole experience.
Teenage Cancer Trust also educates young people and health professionals about cancer
to ensure a swift diagnosis and referral to specialist support. Cancer in young people is
rare but we want young people to know the common signs and symptoms so they can seek
medical advice if they are worried.
