ST. LOUIS, Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Tamara Wagner, Vice President of Coding at National Medical Billing Services, will be a featured presenter at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s Winter Coding Seminar.
Wagner will present three sessions on Tuesday, December 11: Understanding Pain Management from an Audit Perspective (1:00 p.m.); Knee Scope Tips and Traps: Maximizing Reimbursement (2:05 p.m.); and Colonoscopy Reporting: Medical Necessity, Surveillance vs. Screening – Avoiding Denials (3:20 p.m.). “Having a complete understanding of coding and how it can affect your ASC is more important now than ever,” says Wagner. “To thrive in today’s healthcare environment, ASCs have to optimize their revenue, and that begins with proper coding.”
