Kurt Salmon Awarded Top Vendor Selection Honor Third Year Running
ATLANTA, Dec. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Management consulting firm Kurt Salmon was named the top health care IT vendor selection firm in KLAS Enterprises’ 2012 Best in KLAS Awards. KLAS, an independent research agency, also identified Kurt Salmon as the leading vendor selection firm in 2010 and 2011.
The 2012 report included evaluations by almost 20,000 providers. Kurt Salmon scored 99.8 out of 100 for vendor selection, up 3% from last year, and also ranked second in planning and assessment, with scores improving 4% over 2011.
“We’re proud to be chosen once again as the best vendor selection firm in the business and to have made great strides in planning and assessment,” said Stacy Melvin, Kurt Salmon partner and leader of the firm’s Health Care IT Practice. “Our clients are facing a constantly changing environment, and we see this award as an acknowledgement of our deep industry expertise that helps us navigate this shifting landscape. Since we have no vendor or product affiliations, we are able to remain objective and always put clients’ interests first.”
The report gave Kurt Salmon high marks for its experienced advisors and ability to deliver practical solutions to key industry issues. One hundred percent of Kurt Salmon clients surveyed said they would buy the firm’s vendor selection services again.
“That number really means a lot to us as a firm,” Melvin said. “More than 80% of our clients are repeat clients, and we think that speaks volumes about the outstanding value and customer satisfaction we deliver.”
