Training Offered in Emergency Response
FRANKFORT – The Pine Tree Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer an 11-session Emergency Response training course Tuesday, Oct. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 1, at the West Frankfort Fire Department. The course will provide people with knowledge and skills necessary to act as a first responder in an emergency situation.
Classes begin 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. Additional sessions will take place the evenings of Nov. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 27 and 29, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, and Dec. 1. People completing the course receive Red Cross certification in emergency response.
