The Endometriosis Foundation of America (EFA) will hold its Fourth Annual Scientific and Surgical Symposium from Saturday, March 9, 2013 — Monday, March 11, 2013. The symposium will be held at Lenox Hill Hospital´s Einhorn Auditorium — 131 E. 76th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues. Tamer Seckin, MD co-founder and EFA President, is Program Director of the conference. Program Chairs are Harry Reich, MD and CY Liu, MD. Keynote speakers are Dan Martin, MD (“Recognition of Endometriosis – Historical and Current Concepts”) and Serdar Bulun, MD (“Endometriosis Research: from Sampson to the 21st Century”).

Join the EFA as they explore provocative and compelling topics regarding endometriosis. Founded by Top Chef´s Padma Lakshmi and her doctor, Tamer Seckin M.D, the EFA strives to increase disease recognition, provide advocacy, facilitate expert surgical training, and fund landmark endometriosis research. Engaged in a robust campaign to inform both the medical community and the public, the EFA places particular emphasis on the critical importance of early diagnosis and effective intervention while simultaneously providing education to the next generation of medical professionals and their patients.
