Patti Dickey and Todd Stroup join Board of Directors

Make-A-Wish Georgia, a non-profit organization whose mission is to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia L. Dickey and Todd Stroup to its Board of Directors.
Patti Dickey, of Dickey Broadcasting Company and Modern Luxury, is both a business powerhouse and philanthropic leader in the Atlanta community. As Make-A-Wish Georgia´s Celebration of Wishes Gala Co-chair for 2012 and Chairperson for 2013, Patti has already demonstrated her passion and commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission. In addition to her service with Make-A-Wish, Ms. Dickey serves on the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Foundation Board, as well as the Board of Directors of Zoo Atlanta, the Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition and the Animal Lifeline Project.
Todd Stroup is an Assurance Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta, Georgia. Todd has spent much of his career with PwC serving SEC and private clients ranging from large, multinational Fortune 500 companies to US-based mid-caps. In addition to client responsibilities, Todd is involved with several Firm initiatives, including the development of thought leadership publications, various external conferences, and is active in instructing numerous internal firm courses on emerging accounting technical and firm policy guidance.
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. With the help of generous donors and over 30,000 volunteers worldwide, Make-A-Wish grants a wish somewhere in the world every 23 minutes and has granted over 280,000 wishes since its inception in 1980. The Georgia Chapter of Make-A-Wish has granted over 5,000 wishes locally and has over 500 children waiting for their most heartfelt wishes to come true.
