Gluten-Free Expo Coming to Texas in March
The Gluten Free Society is hosting the Houston Glutenology Expo II on March 10th, 2013. Tickets are open to the public and on sale now.

The Gluten Free Society is hosting the Houston Glutenology Expo II. The event will take place on Sunday, March 10th at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas. People who are unable to attend the event in-person may sign up to view the conferences via a live stream. The in-person tickets cost 20 dollars each. “This year we have some great speakers! Janet Rinehart, who is the Director of Houston Celiac Support Group, will be discussing Traveling on a Gluten Free Diet,” said Dr. Peter Osborne, Founder of The Glueten Free Society. “I will be speaking and so will Dr. Jaffe M.D., PhD. He is a world renowned expert in food allergies.”
Houston Glutenology Expo II will have medical doctors on hand; chefs who help prepare gluten-free meals and many vendors that cater to those who have gluten allergies and intolerances. The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. “Glutenology is the science pertaining to the study of gluten. It is the unyielding pursuit of the study of gluten, gluten related diseases, the gluten free diet, lifestyle, and more,” continued Dr. Osborne. “This expo will help the public and medical professionals further understand issues related to Gluten and how to improve one´s quality of life.”
The Gluten Free Society lends its support to research endeavors revolving around grains, gluten, lectins, and other compounds within grain that may harm human health. The organization provides an ongoing analysis and commentary of research performed in the field of food sensitivity/intolerance.
