David Seaton, founder of assisted living and residential program LiveOak, discusses the RidgeOak “care well” program–this is LiveOak´s community that focuses on the long-term care of those with mental illnesses.
Located in Austin, RidgeOak is a person-centered long-term living community for adults living with mental illness. RidgeOak provides residents with a structured, safe place to live, grow, pursue their own interests and develop a stable lifestyle through person-centered support. Founder David Seaton believes that RidgeOak should provide the physical and mental care the residents need, but not necessarily be just a “medical facility”. He strongly believes that part of making sure the residents live happy, fulfilling lives is that RidgeOak is not just a facility, but a home.
LiveOak is a long-term care and residential program in Austin, Texas. With other communities in San Marcos, the LiveOak family strives to give the best personalized care possible.
