Insight Behavioral Health Centers New Oak Park Facility
Acclaimed, Expert Health Care for Adolescents and Adults Open House: May 8, 2013, from 3 – 7 pm
CHICAGO, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — For nearly 10 years, Insight Behavioral Health Centers has helped people struggling with issues such as eating disorders, mood disorders, postpartum depression, anxiety, and more. Insight Behavioral Health Centers (www.insightbhc.com) seasoned clinicians use the most up to date methods to help clients solve their personal and emotional challenges.
The new Oak Park location will enable Insight’s team to offer intensive outpatient, individual, and family therapy services conveniently to residents in the Western suburbs of Chicago. This location marks the fourth behavioral health-care location, including its Downtown Chicago headquarters.
The Oak Park office officially opens May 1, with an Open House taking place Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 3 to 7 p.m. Counselors from neighboring high schools, media and local professionals are invited to attend, meet the staff, and ask questions.
“One thing that sets Insight apart is our use of intensive treatment. This is very helpful for people who need more than traditional individual therapy,” says Katherine Zwick, Program Coordinator for the Oak Park office. “Our Adolescent Program is unique in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy with both adolescents and their parents.”
Insight Behavioral Health Centers Owner and Founder, Dr. Susan McClanahan, adds, “We believe in putting ourselves where there is need. We are opening this welcoming, new center in hopes that it will enable us to reach more people directly where they live and work. We are giving clients and their families the resources they need to heal.”
Located at 1010 Lake Street, #430 in Oak Park, Ill., the new facility will provide a comprehensive range of care. The convenient, welcoming location will offer customized eating disorders, mood and anxiety services to adults, adolescents and their families. The space features six clinical offices, two group therapy rooms, and a group dining area (re-learning social dining is an essential component of recovery for clients with eating disorders). Intensive therapy groups will be available to clients with eating, mood, and anxiety concerns, with separate groups offered exclusively for adolescents and their parents.
