YogaJack and Yoga For Vets Announce Studio Sales Partnership to Support Veterans Who Practice Yoga

May 21, 2013

A portion of the proceeds from participating yoga studios and retail outlets will support Yoga For Vets’ mission.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 21, 2013

Fresh off the heels of their successful product launch earlier this year, Boston-based men´s yoga gear company YogaJack announced today its official studio sales campaign, fueled in part by a brand new partnership with Florida-based Yoga For Vets.

The studio sales campaign targets studios, instructors, and retail outlets to promote the highly reviewed YogaJack ONE 72inch Yoga Mat – with a portion of the campaign proceeds going to support Yoga For Vets´ mission.

Paul Zipes, Yoga For Vets Executive Director and a former Navy diver, founded the organization in 2007, in an effort to secure complimentary and discounted introductory yoga classes to the ever-growing population of returning combat veterans. So far over 650 studios and instructors have signed up nationwide, and with the number of veterans looking to incorporate yoga into their lives, there has never been more of a need for proactive outreach from the yoga community.

YogaJack cofounder Jahon Jamali, himself a former field operations officer with the Department of Defense, quickly praised the partnership as an example of social entrepreneurship driving awareness to support rising needs.

“This partnership really strikes at the heart of YogaJack´s mission – to help invite yoga into the lives of those waiting to take their first step into the practice,” said Jamali. “We´re thrilled to now open orders to studios and I am so proud to work with Paul and Yoga For Vets on this campaign. I hope this is the first of many ways YogaJack can help positively impact the lives of our brave men, and women, of the Armed Forces,” continued Jamali.

Paul Zipes agreed the partnership symbolizes an important step. “As the founder and director of Yoga For Vets, I never endorse businesses unless they are committed to helping our vets feel a loud ℠welcome home´”, said Zipes. “YogaJack is walking the walk by creating a quality yoga mat that is perfect for our military vets. Yoga For Vets is proud to endorse and partner with YogaJack due to their commitment to quality yoga products and our military,” Zipes concluded.

The campaign offers studios and instructors pricing specials, with a portion of proceeds going to support Yoga For Vets. More information can be found at http://www.GoYogaJack.com/YogaForVets.
