Teleradiology Company Responds to Recommendations from ACR Task Force on Teleradiology Practice

June 14, 2013

StatRad CEO, Joe Moock, discusses ACR white paper.

Poway, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2013

The ACR Task Force on Teleradiology Practice recently released a white paper about teleradiology services in the U.S. The white paper includes an overview of the current state of the teleradiology industry and also provides recommendations for teleradiologists and practical considerations for radiology practices considering working with a teleradiology provider.

StatRad´s CEO, Joe Moock, responds to the white paper in a post on the company´s website and he offers his opinion on what else should be expected of teleradiology companies.

“I think many groups tend to focus more on price when choosing a teleradiology provider, but there is much more than money at stake when making that decision,” said Moock. It´s important to learn about the way a teleradiology company is managed to find out if the company has ever engaged in predatory practices or if the management team has plans to take the company public. “Each teleradiology provider is very different and it´s important to do your due diligence and pick the group that really matches your needs and your vision for the future,” said Moock.
