Winegard Introduces Advanced Boost XT Ultra Low Noise Preamplifier for Ultimate Digital TV Picture and Sound Quality

July 19, 2013

Boost XT preamplifier installs on any non-amplified outdoor TV antenna for extended range. It pulls in signals from up to 50 miles away and gives access to many more channels in HD quality.

Burlington, Iowa (PRWEB) July 19, 2013

Winegard, a pioneering television antenna design and manufacturing company has set a new standard for digital TV preamplifiers with the all new Boost XT, the most advanced outdoor VHF/UHF preamplifier.

The Boost XT preamplifier works with any non-amplified outdoor TV antenna. It is affordable and weighs less than 2.9 ounces and measures 4.38 inches wide by 2.77 tall by 1.45 inches deep. The durable black weatherproof ABS plastic case is built to endure years of outdoor use.

What sets the Boost XT apart is that it boasts a true dual-path design, featuring TwimAmp Technology™ that separately amplifies VHF and UHF signals for unsurpassed performance. The separation of the bands increases signal handling capability up to 10 times more and reduces intermodulation, which is critical to maintaining the purest signal path possible. Bandpass filters remove an unwanted RF signal, which enhance signal selectivity and reduces noise and interference to the lowest levels of any product in this category.

The result is higher quality HDTV television picture and sound.

“We designed the Boost XT to be nothing less than the ultimate preamplifier,” said Jay Linderer, Lead RF Design Engineer at Winegard. “It is engineered and built entirely without compromise to deliver extraordinary RF amplification performance and signal accuracy. Plus, it sets a new standard for digital TV preamplifiers.”

Setup is simple with the Boost XT. Attach the preamplifier to the mount near the base of the antenna, and connect the antenna downlead to the preamplifier. Connect a coaxial cable from the preamplifier to the power inserter and from the power inserter to the TV. Then, power the power inserter by connecting the USB cable from the power inserter to the TV or 110V power source via the 110V adapter. The Boost XT preamplifier provides power over the coax, eliminating the need for a power source near the preamplifier.

As with other newer Winegard TV signal filtering and amplifier products, Boost XT uses the company’s advanced Clear Circuit Technology™, which provides an ultra low noise level so viewers receive more local TV channels with minimal pixelation and dropouts for the best viewing experience possible.

Boost XT retails for $69.99, and replaces all Winegard AP series amplifiers. Proudly designed and assembled in the U.S.A.
