Never heard of the term ‘Sandwich Generation?’ According to Pew Research, 47% of adults aged 40-59 are in the position of tending to their career and kids while directly caring for or arranging care for their parents – hence, ‘sandwiched’ between two competing roles. Griswold’s webinar workshop aims to challenge the traditional definition by redefining the Sandwich Generation as ‘A Time of Family Transition & Reinvention.’

To be held July 25(th) at 4:00 PM EST, the company’s free webinar workshop will be hosted by Christopher G. Kelly, Med, BA and Director of Learning and Development at Griswold Home Care. The webinar workshop will:

  1. Provide a new, more holistic perspective on the Sandwich Generation dynamic
  2. Present current needs, drivers, and barriers for young adult children, family caregivers, and grandparents
  3. Share practical strategies for driving cross-generational empathy, understanding, and communication
  4. Present a Family Solutions toolkit that drives effective planning and transition

As July marks the month of annual recognition for the Sandwich Generation, Griswold Home Care has chosen the subject as the 5th topic in its Solutions Series Program, which is an advocacy and educational program that brings existing, available tools to the surface and connects viewers with means for use. Webinar topics are inspired by Griswold’s proprietary Solutions Mining (TM) methodology to identify a timely topic and create relevant, educational, and impactful monthly webinar workshops.
