UHS-Pruitt Corporation Names New Chief Clinical Officer

NORCROSS, Ga., Aug. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Today, UHS-Pruitt Corporation announced the appointment of its new Chief Clinical Officer, Mr. Ryan (“Bucky”) Beddingfield. As CCO, Beddingfield will guide clinical development efforts and work closely with the health care organization’s executive leadership team to further increase quality service delivery.

Bucky joined UHS-Pruitt as a consultant Pharmacist in 2001, where he demonstrated a continuous, strong commitment to the mission of the organization and its strategic plan. He was subsequently promoted to Executive Director of Clinical Services, Vice President of Pharmacy Services, Senior Vice President of Pharmacy and Med Surg, and most recently, to Senior Vice President of Allied Health Services.

In his previous roles, he was responsible for the development and enhancement of clinical program and outcomes, financial performance, customer service and program growth within the organization’s United Pharmacy, United Medical, United Rehab, and United Nutritional service lines.

Mr. Beddingfield is a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and currently serves on the Therapy Policy Advisory Committee for the American Health Care Association.
