Experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders will lead the organization in the launch of new clinical programs for the special needs community.

The world-wide supplier of solutions-based services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, and other developmental disorders has added the expertise of Dr. Michael Mueller, Ph.D., BCBA-D, and Tabitha Kirby, MA, BCBA to its team of highly skilled clinicians. Dr. Mueller and Ms. Kirby bring advanced clinical knowledge and experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy and ASD, and will lead the organization in the development and implementation of evidence-based programs, services and products for individuals with special needs around the world.

Dr. Mueller received his Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi and is also the founder, and Director of Behavioral Services at Southern Behavioral Group in Atlanta, Georgia. A Nationally board certified behavior analyst, his work has focused on a wide range of topics within the ASD/Developmental Disability population, with his primary area of clinical impact being that of the assessment and treatment of severe behavior in applied settings such as public schools. As an associate clinical director at Special Learning, Dr. Mueller will be instrumental in establishing world-class schools for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities in underserved areas of the world.
Tabitha Kirby received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in special education with specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University. As an expert in the field of behavior analysis, Tabitha has worked in various clinical, school, and community settings. As a consultant for families of individuals with ASD, Tabitha led and implemented a variety of successful home-based treatment programs. She will be launching Special Learning’s Virtual Consultation Assessment and Treatment Program, a home-based model for providing treatment, later this fall. In addition, Tabitha will work with Dr. Mueller in creating comprehensive special education curriculum and training programs to provide superior educational outcomes for children with special needs around the globe.
