September 30, 2013

Narconon Freedom Center Michigan graduate shares “Hopeless to Dopeless” story on Fox59 to help promote National Recovery Month September 2013.

Albion, MI (PRWEB) September 30, 2013

Narconon Freedom Center drug rehab graduate shared her “Hopeless to Dopeless” story on the Fox 59 Morning News show in Indianapolis, IN last week to help promote National Recovery Month. This year’s theme is “Join the Voices for Recovery: Together on Pathways to Wellness”. In keeping with this theme, graduate Sara D. told her story of recovery letting others know it is possible for anyone to fully recover from addiction and lead a happy productive life.

Sara told the Fox59.com viewers, “I had gone to eight other treatment centers that didn’t work. My mom never gave up on me and continued to search for something that would truly help me get off drugs. She found the Narconon Freedom Center drug rehab which is a holistic program that doesn’t give one drug to get you off another. Part of the program is a sauna detox that helps get the drug toxins out of your body. It was during this part of the program that my cravings stopped. The other parts of the program that included Life Skills taught me that I could change and really be happy.”

To watch Sara’s story visit Fox59.com and do a search for “Hopeless to Dopeless”.

Sara’s story is one of many voices of recovery being told for National Recovery Month. It was created by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA.gov) and is celebrated in September. Recovery Month promotes the benefits of prevention, treatment and recovery from substance abuse problems. It celebrates people in recovery and praises the contributions of treatment and service providers. It spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective, and that people can and do recover.
