Women’s Health and Surgery Center OB/GYN in Stafford, VA announced this week that it has added Frank Moffitt M.D., FACOG to its roster of physicians providing care to their patients in Fredericksburg, VA and Stafford VA.

Dr. Moffitt joins Women’s Health and Surgery Center from another local practice in the area. He brings a wealth of years of experience and knowledge in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Moffitt has a specialized interest in Obstetrics and high-risk pregnancy and will be seeing patients in the Fredericksburg, VA location and their Stafford, VA location.

Having practiced for many years in the Roanoke, VA area, he has now been in the community for more than 2 years and built a large following of patients. “His bedside manner and dedication to obstetrics is why patients have followed him wherever he goes,” said Dr. Lia Shorter Medical Director at Women’s Health and Surgery Center. “We feel strongly that his addition to our team will only strengthen the experience our patients receive."

He completed undergraduate education at Notre Dame University in Indiana and completed graduate education at University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey Medical School and then completed his residency training in OB/GYN at St. Joseph’s Hospital in New Jersey and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member and fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to his training he has spent his career being active in education and held professorships at various institutions.
