J Wedge Makes Debut at Wichita’s Fit For Life Expo
Owners Mike and Carolyn Janzen introduce the J Wedge, an innovative plantar fasciitis/heel pain treatment, at the Fit For Life Expo on October 12 from 9am-5pm, in Wichita, Kansas at Century II.
Wichita, KS (PRWEB) October 10, 2013
The J Wedge, a revolutionary treatment for plantar fasciitis/heel pain, will be debuting at Wichita’s Fit For Life Expo on October 12. The J Wedge is a small and portable stretching tool that can easily fit into anyone’s daily stretching regimen.
Developed by local runner Mike Janzen and physical therapist Carolyn Janzen, the J Wedge was a creation of necessity. Mike, who had participated in various races ranging from one mile to marathons, developed a severe case of plantar fasciitis. Though he tried all of the main stream treatments, including ice, massage, night splints and custom orthotics, none alleviated his pain. Therefore, the two decided to focus on stretching the fascia itself, and the J Wedge was created.
Using the J Wedge three times per day can effectively treat heel pain caused by plantar fasciitis and eliminate recurrence too. Furthermore, stretching with this innovative tool takes less than one minute.
Mike and Carolyn Janzen launched the J Wedge via their website JWedge.com this summer and are excited to introduce the J Wedge to Wichita and the surrounding area at the Fit For Life Expo. For more information regarding plantar fasciitis/heel pain, the J Wedge, or to try stretching with one, visit the Fit For Life Expo held at Century II on October 12.
