Vista, CA (PRWEB) October 27, 2013

A new Hot Spring® Bolt™ spa was chosen to help complete a home sanctuary remodel for the TV show Bath Crashers, airing Monday, October 28 on the DIY Network.

On the show—part of the popular “Crasher” series including Yard Crashers, House Crashers and Kitchen Crashers—host Matt Muenster and his team crash and trash bathrooms, transforming them into stunning, functional and modern living spaces. The episode will be syndicated on HGTV.

Though Bath Crashers typically stays indoors, to help a stressed Minnesota homeowner, this unique episode will turn a ho-hum bathroom into a luxurious indoor/outdoor sanctuary. The show’s producers selected the Bolt model from the Hot Spring Limelight® Collection to help bring this spa experience outside to promote relaxation, connection and wellbeing. The gleaming champagne shell and redwood cabinet of the energy-efficient Bolt spa, with its soothing hydromassage jets and brilliant underwater lighting, completed the home spa experience producers were looking for.

This remodel will be beautiful and very different from the norm. The project involves the creation of a large wet room with three large walls of recycled granite, a hydrotherapy massage bed, multiple shower areas, a sunken bathtub with a water feature and a double-sided fireplace. Then, a landscaping crew continues the spa experience outdoors with a sunken hot tub and a solar shower.

Hot Spring Spas of Iowa and the Twin Cities, with owner Thad Schaben, an authorized Hot Spring retailer with five surrounding locations, was a subcontractor for the build, handling the delivery and installation of the spa in July of this year. Hot Spring sales associate Eric Piekarski was onsite supervising the project.

“We are thrilled that a Hot Spring spa was selected for the show,” says Kacy Rivers, Hot Spring Brand Manager. “We hope it will help many other stressed homeowners understand how easy it is to enjoy daily relief and family time with the help of a Hot Spring spa.”
