Texas Children’s Hospital launches on-site ReadyCam© broadcast studio allowing direct access to top healthcare experts

HOUSTON, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Texas Children’s Hospital, ranked 4(th) nationally among children’s hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 2013, is the latest hospital to install a ReadyCam© on-site studio, allowing doctors, nurses, scientists, researchers and patient families to appear live on broadcast news programs. Nationally recognized experts in children’s and women’s health will now be available 24/7 to report and comment on breaking health care news directly from Texas Children’s in Houston, Texas. Texas Children’s joins several leading hospitals and medical centers across the country in implementing the ReadyCam technology to transmit broadcast quality, high definition video over the Internet to news media organizations. The studio can also be used to stream webcasts and record video for the web and internal communications.
