Hilton Head Health’s ‘Stress Release Week’ Will Teach Guests How to Manage Stress Wherever They Find It
In honor of National Stress Awareness Month, Hilton Head Health has announced ‘Stress Release Week’, April 13-20, 2014. The award-winning health and wellness resort will complement their Healthy Lifestyle Program with guided meditations, beach yoga classes, world-class guest presenters, small-group workshops, and so much more.

Hilton Head Health (H3), America’s #1 health and weight loss resort, today announced ‘Stress Release Week’, April 13-20. The week addresses the modern stress epidemic by giving individuals the tools they need to better cope with stress. Highlights include: daily guided meditation, presentations by renowned experts in Psychology and small-group fitness classes designed to relieve stress.
“According to the American Psychological Association, nearly half of all Americans report that their stress levels have increased over the last year,” says Lisette Cifaldi, H3’s Director of Behavioral Health. “Our unique approach at identifying, managing and releasing stress will help people live a healthier, more balanced life.” Every April for the past 22 years, Health Resource Network (HRN), a non-profit health education corporation has hosted Stress Awareness Month. “We decided that stress awareness and treatment are such important issues that we should be involved in this vital movement,” commented Cifaldi.
The ‘Stress Release Week’ will feature six special presentations, half of which will be given by Cifaldi and the final three will feature instruction by the highly regarded psychotherapist, Dr. Toni Nixon. Dr. Nixon has more than 35 years of experience educating, coaching and inspiring people all around the world. She holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology from Boston University, and is also a certified wellness coach and meditation teacher with training from the Mindfulness Center at UMass Medical School. Dr. Nixon will discuss Mindfulness Training, How to Create Your Best Self and Staying on Track.
