Valley General Hospital Selects Stockell Healthcare’s InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information System

May 12, 2014

Looks to control costs, accelerate revenues, and provide exceptional patient service

ST. LOUIS, May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Stockell Healthcare Systems is pleased to announce that Valley General Hospital, a full-service community hospital located in Monroe, Washington, has selected the company’s InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information system.

The hospital will be replacing their AS/400 based product with the InsightCS® system’s end-to-end suite of Patient Scheduling and Registration, Payer Eligibility Checking, Patient Accounting and Billing, Claims Resolution and Processing, Contract Management, Denial Tracking and Reporting applications to control costs, accelerate revenue collection, and deliver exceptional patient and provider service.

The result of a recently formalized relationship between Medsphere Corporation and Stockell Healthcare Systems, InsightCS® is being implemented at Valley General Hospital along with Medsphere’s OpenVista electronic health record (EHR), a comprehensive suite of clinical support applications that enables improved patient care and more efficient clinician workflow.

While the two companies have worked together previously to deliver solutions to other customer hospitals, Stockell Healthcare Systems and Medsphere Corporation are more closely integrated now to streamline data exchange between InsightCS® and OpenVista, creating a fully interoperable enterprise health IT platform for Valley General Hospital.

Rick Stockell, President of Stockell Healthcare stated, “Community Hospitals are on the front line delivering patient care within our local communities. They represent an important market segment for us and we are pleased with the opportunity to provide our full suite of advanced Revenue Cycle Information solutions to help Valley General Hospital improve patient and provider satisfaction, and to maximize operational efficiency throughout the entire revenue cycle.”
