Smart for Life Weight Management Centers Announce Opening of Newest Location in Langhorne, Bucks County

Posted on: Tuesday, 23 October 2007, 15:00 CDT

Over the past 12 months, Smart for Life Weight Management patients throughout the Delaware Valley and New Jersey have collectively lost over 75,000 pounds. That number is about to dramatically increase with the opening of the company's newest Center located at 680 Middletown Blvd., in Langhorne, PA.

Smart for Life is a medically supervised weight loss program that is quick, safe, easy, and has helped thousands of area residents lose an average of 12-15 pounds per month -- eating cookies.

Headed by two local physicians, Dr. Allan Magaziner and Dr. Scott Greenberg, Smart for Life has become one of the region's fastest growing weight management programs which includes Centers in Cherry Hill, Broomall, King of Prussia, Warrington and now Langhorne. Due to the growing popularity of this medically supervised weight loss program, the company plans to open five additional locations within the next 12 months.

"The biggest reason for our success is that our program is based on medical supervision. Every Smart for Life Center has a physician on staff who works with patients to develop a customized weight loss program and consistently monitors their progress throughout the course of the program," says Dr. Allan Magaziner.

"Plus when our patients lose 12-15 pounds per month eating cookies on such a simple and easy program, they stay motivated and focused until they reach their goals and learn a new way of eating," Dr. Magaziner added.

To celebrate the opening of the Langhorne Center and the future weight loss success of its new patients, Smart for Life has partnered with 98.1 WOGL-FM to launch the "WOGL Listeners Cookie Challenge." On October 27, 2007, from noon until 2pm, WOGL personality, Valerie Knight, will be on-hand at the Langhorne Center to sign-up 25 contestants to participate in a 30-day, weight loss competition.

An additional 25 contestants will be selected by WOGL and Smart for Life through on-air and online submissions at http://www.wogl.com/pages/1100141.php. Smart for Life will provide a free 30-day program, including a four-week supply of cookies to all contestants. The contestant who loses the most weight will be awarded a $250 makeover, while 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive $100.

The medically supervised aspect of Smart for Life differentiates it from every other diet program on the market today, including those found in books, national chain diet centers and even supplements found in mall kiosks. Unlike most programs that simply sell low calorie and appetite suppressing food products to consumers looking to shed pounds, Smart for Life provides one-on-one physician supervision that allows its clients to benefit from the widest range of weight loss treatments available.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Smart for Life Weight Management program or the 30-day WOGL Listeners Cookie Challenge should come to the Langhorne Grand Opening event, held at 680 Middletown Blvd., Langhorne, PA, on October 27, 2007 from noon until 2 p.m.
